Bhairav Kunda Trekking (14 Days)

Bhairav Kunda in Sanskrit means holy lake named after the destructive image of lord Shiva, the bhairav. It is located to the northeast of Kathmandu next to Panch pokhari and closer to Nepal-Tibetan border. The starting points for the trek at larcha in the Arniko highway.

The settlements on the route from near gurungs, and Sherpa as majorities. The top of Bhairav kunda offers an excellent view of Rowling Range, Jugal himal range and Tibetan Himalayan ranges.

Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome in airport and transfer to hotel. Hotel included.
Day 02-Free Day in Kathmandu.
Day 03– Kathmandu-jalbire (1,000M)
Day 04- Jalbiri-Chanute (1,200M)
Day 05- Chanute-khani Gaon -6 hrs
Day 06– Kanio gaon-rest-day (explore the culture and tradition of the newer village.
Day 07– khani Gaon-forest camp- 6 hrs.
Day 08– forest camp-Pati (3,950M) it is 5.
Day 09- Pati-Bhairav kunda it is a 2 hrs up hill walk to get to kunda. Bhairav kunda is situated at an altitude of (4,150M) it is a big holy lake and there small temple of lord Shiva nearby. Once every year during June / July, pilgrims from different parts of Nepal visit kunda to take holy bath and pay homage to lord Shiva.
Day 10- Bhairab kunda, bhairab kunda top (4,500M) – Sherpa Gaon. Early morning walk to Bhairab kunda top to see the sun rise and close Mountain View of Langtang, Jugal himal range, and Rolwaling range and Tibetan range 6 hrs steep descent will reach to Sherpa village.
Day 11– Sherpa goan, larche it takes 4 hrs to reach the bank of bhote Koshi River called larche.
Day 12– larche- kathmandu it is about 6 hrs scenery drive back to kathmandu.
Day 13– Free Day in Kathmandu.(Hotel included )
Day 14– Transfer at airport 3h before of your plane leaving time.

THE PRICE INCLUDING 

Accompanying by a professional English speaking guide, cook and a porter(20 kg maximum for 2 persons). In Kathmandu: reception at the airport, transfer to hotel. Permit of trek and national parks. Reconfirmation of return ticket.

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE 

The hotel in Kathmandu and the meals in Kathmandu, the drinks, the entrance of monuments and towns. Your insurances the none indicated visits.

Note: All participants have to give a copy of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don’t cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses paid by Nepal Assemble Treks for your helicopter rescue or research. Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.

In The trek the guide is allowed to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and the physical condition of participants. Each participant who stop his trek or make changes any form of program may not ask any money compensation to the agency.
